My son Chad's week at Mayo Clinic for UC Surgery his recovery period, take down surgery and long term recovery.

Day 5
Good News! Chad had the NG tube removed this morning. He was up every hour last night using the restroom, so his bowels are now fully awake. He has started a liquid diet and is tolerating it very well.

Hooray! Chad's feeling better and the Gators win big over Florida State. The day is looking good! Hey Chad...hope you're getting in on some of the football action today. Tube removal is great news and so glad to hear that you are feeling better. We continue to surround you with love and prayers. Now it's on to Oklahoma Bedlam---GO OU! GO CHAD---GET HEALED UP!
